Two cats
Two Cat grew out of research at NYU into emerging technology, and how it reshapes politics, power and privilege. That curiosity now moves across formats: brands, products, research and physical computing, wherever the questions lead.
Founders
Aliza Habib is a senior product designer and creative technologist, and a Fulbright Scholar from NYU’s Interactive Telecommunications Program.
At Ideate Innovation she researches, builds and tests digital products with grassroots communities, and she leads communications strategy for the Climate Finance Accelerator Pakistan.
Off the clock she tinkers: What She Carried, a VR archive of objects carried across Partition, and ToeTapText, co-designed with Jessica Cox. At Two Cat she leads design and research.
Mina Khan is a writer who works in climate finance, and a Fulbright Scholar with a Master’s in Financial Engineering from New York University.
On Roses & Galaxies, her weekly Substack, she pins down what she calls tiny immensities: homesickness that drifts in with a familiar meal, the long way home, the women who choose each other on purpose.
At Two Cat she shapes where the studio goes, runs its writing workshops, and plans and hosts its design workshops.

Websites, apps and dashboards, designed and built: information architecture, interface and interaction design, plus prototypes and physical pieces made with Arduino, 3D printing, code and sound.

User interviews, usability and brand testing, design audits and accessibility reviews, with service blueprints and systems maps that show how a product or service really works.
